If you read the whole article, they are really complaining about the teacher funding that they stuck on the end of this bill regarding war funding......Why not just offer a "teacher funding" bill and not add on so much stuff onto other bills? Is it to disguise all of the crazy spending of our money? Truly, we all believe that education is the KEY to a free country, but why is it the responsibility of the Federal Government to educate us? Isn't that a tiny bit scary? Could we not be better served in our communities if we paid for our teachers? If we have skin in the game closer to home, we might just demand more from the educators of our children and not be home schooling them at such an alarmingly increasing rate!
Just be honest....(does anyone remember that word...up there in the rarified air of Washington, D.C.) with the bills you present to the American President who is the representative of the American PEOPLE!
